To contribute to the efficient, professional and comprehensive secretarial service to the Group Management Team

The key roles of this post will include:

  1. To provide an efficient, professional and comprehensive secretarial service to the Group Management Team.
  2. To develop and maintain all manual and computerised record systems to ensure that information databases are up to date and available for use.
  3. To provide a diary management service for the Service Directors – and Service Managers – and secretarial support as required ensuring an efficient service is provided.
  4. To liaise with other services and external organisations in order to deal effectively with all enquiries received.
  5. To plan and organise meetings to ensure objectives are met.
  6. To take and produce accurate minutes of a variety of meetings.
  7. To progress chase correspondence, reports and other communications.
  8. To provide an efficient and accurate word processing service and to prepare PowerPoint presentations.
  9. To manage incoming and outgoing mail to ensure that appropriate action is taken promptly.

10.Such other responsibilities allocated appropriate to the grade of the post.

Knowledge, Qualification & Experience

Knowledge/Experience of:

  • Microsoft Office Word, Internet and E-mail
  • Providing secretarial or other support services
  • Minute Taking

Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths
  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration
