We are seeking a Personal Advisor.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on their lives.

Roles and Responsibilities will include:

• Working with young people who are Looked After and Care Leavers, aged 16 to 25 years.
• Working with unaccompanied Asylum Seekers.
• Providing a holistic service to young people, assessing needs to provide the best possible support, advice, guidance, and planning.
• Working in partnership with key agencies and support networks.
• Completing Pathway Plans that are robust, reflective, and based upon individual needs.
• Supporting young people in making wise choices, staying safe, and reaching their full potential.
• Supporting the housing needs of young people as they transition into adulthood.
• Supporting young people in meeting their educational potential and engagement in education, employment, and training.
• Supporting young people to meet their health needs.
• Ensuring that young people’s wishes and feelings are at the centre of all practice and that their views help shape interventions and practice, which is recorded within their Pathway Plan.
• Ensuring accurate records are maintained, reflecting decision-making.
• Supporting the team and young people through the duty service and social groups.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a genuine interest in working with young people.
• Demonstrate an enthusiastic and dynamic approach to their work.
• Have an Enhanced DBS.
• Hold a minimum NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, or be working towards NVQ Level 4.
• Must have a full driving licence and use of a car with business insurance
