Personal Advisor
We are seeking a Personal Advisor.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on their lives.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Working with young people who are Looked After and Care Leavers, aged 16 to 25 years.
- Working with unaccompanied Asylum Seekers.
- Providing a holistic service to young people, assessing needs to provide the best possible support, advice, guidance, and planning.
- Working in partnership with key agencies and support networks.
- Completing Pathway Plans that are robust, reflective, and based upon individual needs.
- Supporting young people in making wise choices, staying safe, and reaching their full potential.
- Supporting the housing needs of young people as they transition into adulthood.
- Supporting young people in meeting their educational potential and engagement in education, employment, and training.
- Supporting young people to meet their health needs.
- Ensuring that young people’s wishes and feelings are at the centre of all practice and that their views help shape interventions and practice, which is recorded within their Pathway Plan.
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained, reflecting decision-making.
- Supporting the team and young people through the duty service and social groups.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a genuine interest in working with young people.
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic and dynamic approach to their work.
- Have an Enhanced DBS.
- Hold a minimum NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, or be working towards NVQ Level 4.
- Must have a full driving licence and use of a car with business insurance
