We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Headquarters. This role involves food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and cooking.
• Set up rooms and serve meals/refreshments.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant catering qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ in Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent).
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

Hours  0700 – 1500 hours (flexible start time of 0700, 0800 or 0900 – ideally 0700 or 0800)
