Duration: Temporary (6 months), Full Time

Salary: £450 – £500 per day (PAYE/Umbrella)

Location: Chelmsford

Working Style: Anywhere Worker

 

Note: Attendance at Chelmsford offices may be required on a business needs basis, typically 1-2 times per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of forward-thinking leadership and management development solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future needs.
  • Procure external resources when necessary, manage contracts, and assure quality in program delivery.
  • Deliver leadership and management development solutions, such as executive coaching, workshops, and consultancy advice, tailored to various levels within the organization.
  • Support the execution of the Talent development strategy by addressing identified needs through leadership and management development initiatives.
  • Establish robust measurement mechanisms to evaluate the impact of development programs on individual and organizational performance.
  • Foster collaborative approaches to enhancing leadership and management capabilities across theCounty, fostering strategic partnerships as needed.
  • Collaborate with People & Transformation teams to build a cohesive and relevant service for the organization, working closely with People Business Partnering teams on cross-cutting programs.
  • Set and meet annual targets and objectives within the performance management framework through professional supervision.

Experience Required:

  • Proficient in stakeholder management, delivering results efficiently.
  • Extensive technical expertise in Leadership and Management Development, from executive to entry-level positions, coupled with practical program execution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, pioneer new approaches, and provide expert guidance to colleagues.
  • Strong background in designing and evaluating the impact of leadership and management development programs, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Experience in learning and business consulting, facilitating collaborative decision-making processes across matrix organizations.
  • Skilled in workshop facilitation and content creation, ensuring engagement and relevance.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
  • Coaching qualification desirable.
