Temporary Cleaners – Work up until Christmas

• Type: Temporary (until 20/12/2024, with potential extension after Christmas)
• Salary: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour (inclusive)

We are urgently seeking Cleaners for Agency Cover at the following locations:

1. Rotherham

• 4 positions, 15 hours/week
• Hours: 5:30 am – 8:30 am (Monday – Friday)

2. Dearne Valley

• 2 positions, 15 hours/week
• Hours: 5:30 am – 8:30 am (Monday – Friday)
• 1 position, 20 hours/week
• Hours: 5:30 am – 8:45 am (Monday – Thursday) & 5:30 am – 8:30 am (Friday)
• 1 position, 16 hours/week
• Hours: 5:30 am – 9:30 am (Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning operations, including multi-surface cleaning
• Operate cleaning machines as trained and directed
• Ensure buildings are prepared and safe for daily use
• Report any health and safety faults to the Estates Team
• Perform deep cleaning/sanitising as required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience (ideally in an office or similar environment)
• Familiarity with using a range of cleaning equipment and substances
• Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A-C/4-9 or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this qualification
• Emergency First Aid at Work qualification or willingness to attain it
• Highly flexible with the ability to respond quickly to changing demands and urgent tasks
