About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee diverse projects, including:

•   Bus Service Improvement Plan: Enhancing public transport infrastructure.
•   City Centre Road Project: Redesigning road networks alongside city regeneration.
•   Local Town Centre Revitalizations: Improving shopping areas for community benefit.

  This is a temporary role for up to 18 months, blending strategic leadership and hands-on project delivery.

  Main Responsibilities:

•   Manage capital works aligned with Portsmouth’s regeneration objectives.
•   Develop budgets, monitor costs, and ensure financial accountability.
•   Lead and mentor junior team members.
•   Engage stakeholders and deliver clear communication.
•   Drive procurement, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies. Qualifications and Experience:

•   HND/Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or similar.
•   PRINCE2 Practitioner certification or APM membership preferred.
•   Proven track record in managing high-impact projects.
•   Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical skills.
